Um, I have a plot I’d like to share with you. It would be really cool if it could happen on this site – of course, it would only happen when we get more members and if Dhianna approves. But I also thought I could share it with you because I want to see what everybody thinks. I’m open for constructive criticism.
Lighting stumbled upon the stony castle that was protecting such a small thing; such a delicate and tiny being. The Protectors frantically closed the gate to the castle and called in all their troops, they knew how important and huge this day was – but deep down they were all scared. What would happen once it was all over? The battle to come seemed hopeless; all the knights they could summon were just not enough. Rain beat like a drum against the grey stones; daylight was blotted out by dark stormy clouds and up in the tallest tower was a faint and distant wail, the cry of a baby.
This event shook the whole land as seven of the strongest castles had been chosen to protect seven important infants. Connection between the strongholds had been forbidden, they could not risk their messages being intercepted by the enemy, the strange unknown enemy. Each castle was just as clueless as one another, cut off from the outside world. They had bolted the doors and any visitors were not welcome. People in villages, towns and city’s had fled, knowing the enemy would come with flaming torches and burn everything in their way down. Everybody detested this unknown enemy, so they named it the opposition.
Nobody knew much about the opposition, some didn't believe it was real or coming. All they knew was that it wanted the seven powerful children, and that it would tear the land apart to get it. This enemy didn't come from Kzeldi, Siendije, Alsiela, Martille, Ckelmarin or Enteelen, it came from a far distant land where no person from Salmai'nne had ever set foot on. They named this land; "The Unknown Realm".
So the battle began as the hungry opposition tore its way to the coastline. The dock was abandoned as the workers fled. Only foolish knights stayed and tried to take on the opposition, but as soon as the opposition struck everything vanished. The opposition worked its way through the land, there was only one thing worse than the petrified screams heard that night; the silence after. Many hidden people were terrified, having watched an angry black sky turn red with blood.
The whole land grew silent. Half of the land was dead, nothing alive trod upon it – but half was hiding. Soon enough the seven strongholds would be attacked, but the opposition seemed to be taking its time. It seemed just to wait for the dreaded battle between them was worst than the battle itself. Time passed by. The Knights and Maidens paced back and forth. When would the opposition show up?
Nobody had checked upon the seven infants, they were hidden, locked away in the tallest towers or the deepest cellars in case all else failed. The small wails and cry’s abruptly stopped, yet no one noticed. The seven infants, the ones who the prophecy had forseen to be the most powerful ever, had vanished, but nobody knew.
The opposition had also dissapeared, much to the land's delight. Many had been lost, so they held a memorial day. The Knights and Maidens cursed themselves for not realising sooner. Later, many would not believe what had happened and blamed the strongholds for a big, fake hoax. The mothers of the seven babies demanded them back. The owners of the strongholds fled, fearing for their lives as the angry mob grew more furious.
One mother of one of the seven babies, Ophelious, travelled long and far to the Oracle. She knew that it was not a hoax, not any kind of fake event. She mourned for her lost child whom she dearly loved.
"When will my child be returned to me?", she pleaded desperately.
"Wait patiently", the Oracle replied. "For a time will come when you will achknowledge all".
Ophelious travelled back to her home in Enteelen, uplifted with hope. Soon she was blessed with another child, therefore this lifted her spirits even more, as she thought this was another sign.
As decades passed the incident of the seven infants was forgotten, Ophelious grew old and died, like every mother of the seven children. A few never forgot their "important" child, but others let it go and lived their lives. Once a hundred years passed, the whole event was finally at rest. The legend on the Seven Lives was no more. The Oracle became almost extinct and there was no one alive to tell the tale. Six Castles were still standing, one of the seven finally defeated and knocked down, but no one knew why the castles where there.
A famous explorer was once walking upon the Sand Dunes when he stumbled upon an old, dying man. The explorer, named Ryan, fed the old man water and comforted him in his last days, taking him to Ryan's camp. The old man told Ryan everything, about the Seven Lives Legend and how his brother was one of the seven chosen ones. The old man told Ryan of how he was the second child of Ophelious. But the old man also told Ryan of a hidden ruins called, "The Time Ruins". And with that, the old man died.
Ryan searched for The Time Ruins for as long as he lived, as well as many others. But The Time Ruins were hidden deep in a place which no one suspected. Some wondered if it was a portal to another place, a place of hidden treasure, a machine...but no one knew. And so the adventure begins...
That's basically the plot which the public eye can know...what happens next is a secret unless we don't roleplay the plot here on this site...
Sorry Dhianne about The Unknown Realm (T.U.R) and the opposition, they wern't in your plot, so let me explain.
The prophecy told everyone an enemy would come. So everyone just assumed that there was this land where they came from, because the enemy apparantly didn't live in Salmai'nne...
If we do roleplay this plot then a few boards would have to be made at the beggining:
Trainer's Tomb
6 Castles (one in Kzeldi, one in Ckelmarin, one in Siendije, one in Alsiela, one in Martille, one in Enteelen)
Only one new category should be made. Its just "The Unknown Realm". Once the plot advanced (if we did roleplay it) then we would add boards to that.
Anyway, thanks for reading.
